SOY (TURKISH)
Synopsis
Sixty years ago, during a tomb raid in Egypt, Murat discovers an ancient painting and unknowingly unleashes the curse of Umm al-Subyan. The curse tears him away from his family and imprisons him in a dark mansion in Istanbul. Decades later, on his deathbed, Murat summons his grandson Can, hoping to finally confront his past. When Can arrives at the mansion with his girlfriend Başak and their friends Aziz and Gülru, they find themselves trapped in a dense fog that cuts them off from the outside world, surrounded by supernatural events. As ghosts and betrayals from the past surface in the mansion's corridors, the group falls victim to the curse one by one. As the curse takes possession of Can's body, Başak and Gülru, who turns out to be a medium, attempt an ancient ritual to trap the curse back inside the painting. But this dark cycle lives on, not only through death, but through an unborn child in the womb. At the end of a night woven with sacrifice and terror, the curse has found a new way to survive.
